What are ceramic coatings?
CYA Ceramic Your Assets Ceramic coatings, also known as nano-coatings, are a type of ceramic infused liquid polymer that forms a molecular bond with the surfaces in which it is applied, creating an additional highly durable, clear, semi-permanent, *hydrophobic (liquids bead up and or sheet off) and **oleophobic (repels oils) protective layer that will not wash off or break down.
The only way to remove a true ceramic coating is by abrasion.
They don’t wash off, they don’t fall off, they only rub off.
*Hydrophobic means that water can not to bond with the coated surface. The surface becomes water resistant, repelling water, dust, dirt and other of aqueous solutions allowing for easy cleaning of the surface.
**Oleophobic means “fear of oil”, but in a practical sense, it means that oils cannot bond to the coated surface and making them oil and solvent resistant.
